My husband has to have military grade phones because he's so rough on them. We have always used the kyocera duraforce and had good luck. I tried to cut corners and went with the kyocera durosport and it's a piece of junk. The screen shattered on the first drop. It's supposed to have gorilla glass and be able to withstand drops. Don't waste your time or money.

The manufacturer states that it can withstand a the drop from 5 feet. Not true. Not only did screen crack like a spider web, the frame chipped as well making it impossible to replace the screen. The phone must be sent back to manufacturer for repair. Buyer beware.
